Built during the reign of Sikander Lodi, Moth Ki Masjid is a prominent mosque with an interesting story. Legend has it that the Sultan found a seed of lentil in his then Friday mosque. Whenever it ripened, it produced plentiful harvest. The proceeds of this repeated miraculous multiplication were used to make the Moth Ki Masjid. The mosque is adorned with Quranic verses and believed to have inspired the construction of the famous monument, Jamali Kamali.
